MAGNETIC SIDE TUBE DAMPER KIT - SHORT SHAFT (PAIR)

This uses the same design philosophy as our wildly successful magnetic centre shock and it meant to be paired with our new magnetic front/rear shocks for chassis that use side tube dampers.

A magnet is used to create the dampening action of the shock instead of grease. This makes it more consistent, easier to adjust and has lower maintenance than a standard grease shock. 

This kit contains:

• 2 x Main Shock Body with preinstalled ball nut
• 2 x Threaded magnet holder with embedded magnet
• 2 x (short) steel shaft
• 2 x plastic 3.5mm ball socket
• 2 x 3.5mm ball nuts (you need to supply or reuse existing screws from your chassis or if needed substitute with a ball stud)
• 6 x shims

Standard features include:

• Adjust dampening action by adding or removing shims without needing to dissemble the shock
• Use a standard 4.5mm wheel nut driver to unscrew or screw in the magnet holder
• Ability to use springs other than what is included (e.g. Atomic springs, etc..)
